PF : what do you think about 3bet with a plan to start barreling postflop with good equity ??

turn i think it is a fold ,but my thought process during the hand was:

i call turn with a plan to bluf on the river against hand like TT,JJ,QQ

Hello,

I would prefer to 3bet hands with some blockers.

If we want to put money on two streets to make him fold PPs I would prefer to bet flop and turn rather than call turn and bet river.
If I check flop I would be folding turn.

Best,
Plamen

Actually this is quite simple.

Lets say villain has a range of 22+,A2s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,ATo+,KTo+,QTo+,JTo which are 286 combos.
Lets say his range to continue against a 3bet is TT+, AQ+ which are 62 combos.

If we use the card removal feature in the Equilab, we see that if we have Ah2h his range preflop is reduced to 256 combos, and his range to continue against a 3bet is reduced 51 combos.

As you can see, in the second scenario he is going to continue less of the times and overall this is the blocker effect.
