Villain is an unknown

Preflop: In hindsight I think defending this wide vs an unknown is bad. Obviously since I had position I wasn't planning on just playing fit or fold postflop. Plan was to float some flops, although I think that this is a leak of mine I try to float in the wrong spots and without reads.

If we take a standard open raising range for the SB it would look something like this:

Spoiler

       Equity     Win     Tie
SB     54.30%  51.88%   2.42% { 22+, A6s+, K9s+, Q9s+, J8s+, T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s, ATo+, K9o+, Q9o+, J9o+ }
BB     45.70%  43.28%   2.42% { QJs, QJo }

So I guess we are not in terrible shape and we have position so I'm not sure.

Flop: Obviously it is a good board for villain to be c-bet bluffing here. Therefore I think he will often check/fold the turn with small pairs and high cards. If he barrels then the plan was to assume that he is not bluff and fold the turn unless I make a pair and can consider trying to get to showdown.

Hello,

I think QJo should be a standard defend against unknown in BvB.

Fold flop.
We have no backdoors and without any information for villain I would take the safe route.

Best,
Plamen
