It doesn't really matter. Your goal was to value bet and you did the right thing.

I would think that raising 3 times his bet would have the same effect as going all in since he had so little left.

Hi,

When he donks into a Broadway flop after you 3betted pre flop, it's almost always an indication of strength which means he is willing to call raises with his top pair 2p and straight draws so we are definitely raising here. I think it's better to make it something like 60 cents and then jamming the turn. The smaller raise size makes it look less scary for him but in essence the same for us, but makes him go in with a looser range.
