Flop Check/Raise 33(9)

No empirical evidence.
Is this right?
I think getting it in is ok, the question is how?
I picked up the road "3b wider for value" instead of the passive road.
This way I give xem the illusion of having FE w/ a 4b or making xem feel committed with draws.
Another option would be to call xyr raise on flop and raise it up on turn but I didn't have any stat on CBets and didn't want to deal with a drawy turn without it.
Also what about the sizing of the 3b?

Hi AtrociousNightmare

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I think that you played it fine given the scenario and player. A flop raise can mean a lot from TP to some draws or bluffs so we are not folding here (clearly).

I think that w/o positions it's better to 3-bet vs the fish and I'd probably make it slightly smaller to give him a more room for a re-bluff but overall the idea is fine.

Thx!
I'm still at a blank for 3b sizes postflop, is there a standard of some kind?

You could say a standard is between 2.25-3x but it really depends on board, positions, players, etc.

So always ask yourself the same questions before raising: why you are raising, what do you know about villain, etc.
