Hero (BTN): $52 (104 bb)
SB: $26 (52 bb)
BB: $54.78 (109.6 bb)
UTG: $61.88 (123.8 bb) Villain is relatively unknown. (after 12 hands 25-12, RFI from EP 33, af 2.0)
MP: $27.33 (54.7 bb)
CO: $19.57 (39.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 7♥ 7♠
UTG raises to $1.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.50, 2 folds

Flop: ($3.75) 2♦ 3♠ 5♥ (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $2, UTG raises to $6, Hero calls $4

Turn: ($15.75) 8♥ (2 players)
UTG bets $11.50, Hero calls $11.50

River: ($38.75) A♣ (2 players)
UTG bets $42.88 and is all-in, Hero folds

Does he really rep that often AA/KK there with that x/r ?? I DO have a bunch of overpairs on that board, so I'd definitely call his cbet, I don't see any reason to x/r ... Except for retarted bluff, since villain is relatively unknown ... So I called flop. And since the turn doesn't change much, decided to peel that one too, hoping he'd give up bluffing on the river. River jam is veeery weird also, but since Ace hits his most of the bluffing range I suppose, there's nothing I can do but fold ... But what if river was another brick ?? Easy fold still ??

Hey wicKeD,

Preflop call is fine.

Flop bet is fine. I think we can probably even fold directly to x/r as an exploitative line. Often when guys make weird x/r like this as the PFR their range is weighted towards value. They should mix in bluffs, but many players just don't ever x/r bluff as the PFR even though they should as part of a balanced strategy.
