Hey,

I checked the Turn, because the Pot was protected by the all-in person. My friend told me that I could bet the Turn for value against BBs range. I'm really unsure about this suggestion. What do you think?

Boss, $0.25/$0.50 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 5 Players
Poker Tools by CardRunners - Hand Details

SB: $52.90 (105.8 bb)
BB: $58.39 (116.8 bb)
MP: $8.60 (17.2 bb)
Hero (CO): $60.11 (120.2 bb)
BTN: $36.75 (73.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J Q T 9
MP calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.25, BTN folds, SB calls $2, BB calls $1.75, MP calls $1.75

Flop: ($9) 7 6 J (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP bets $6.35 and is all-in, Hero calls $6.35, SB folds, BB calls $6.35

Turn: ($28.05) K (3 players, 1 is all-in)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($28.05) K (3 players, 1 is all-in)
BB checks, Hero checks

Hi,

i think the mistake is the flop call. With 2 players left to act behind u, u have to fold here. You have to fold to any new reraise, and are therefore leaving yoruself vulnerable in this spots.

I would definetly bet turn tough. BB will fold out a lot of equity vs your hand, and you are never drawing dead at this point. What's the point of a perfect scare card if we won't use it?

Regards,

Skod
