preflop: you open limped *getting chills down my back* Do not and I repeat Do not ever open limp again its the worst move you can do in poker and the very definition of a fish :)

A2s Is definitely a strong enough hand to Raise from your position. So raise next time please

as played flop turn is cool.
I dont mind betting again on river because they simply just called. and preflop they were passive aswell so Their ranges doesnt seem all that strong.

oh and please delete the results in your hand history. we don't need to see "results below" what hands they have doesn't matter when you are evaluating hands.

Another messed up hand history. Not as badly though. Do you edit them or is there a bug in the PS converter?

Nonetheless, raise preflop, bet flop, bet turn, bet river.

How I could raise from MP2 with A2s? Atleast A8s s needed isnt it?

What if somebody slow played and had two pairs as many broadways are there on flop? What if somebody just have a A3??

Hi!

This is fold preflop from MP3. If you openRaise this you need a good reason but shouldnt be something you are doing regularly.
As played river is a must bet.

...

You are misinterpreting the open raising chart in at least two ways. According to the (broken) HH you have two players behind you. That puts you in the HJ (hijack) which is labeled MP3 in Equilab.

  • According to the charts you can open raise A5s.
  • Playing according to these charts you open raise or fold.

These charts are fairly tight, but if you deviate and play looser for some reason, then you should absolutely not limp in. You should raise.

I agree with dawnfall that this is a fold.. I am very sorry to say I thought this was 6max and not Full ring for some reason. I was too fast in reading the hand history. my bad.

Oh yeah. According to the charts in pokerstrategy.com its a clear fold.
I am playing a little loose with calling suited Aces from middle positions without any rise and in late position even with a rise following strategy from a book by David slansky
Is it really bad?
Why its a clear bet on river? How about the weak kicker?

HJ is HJ, fullring or not. A2s is just barely outside the charts (same for both 6-max and fullring) and many, perhaps most, play it. I don't because I suck.

Yes.

A2s from Mp3 is ok to raise but just if you have tight guys left to act. Means you'll colllect deadmoney from the blinds more often and you're not gonna end up being in a heads-up situation as one guy behind you might isolate you and A2s oop dont play really well! In some games it'll be a standard open from mp3 but especially when you're not so familiar with how to play postflop properly oop and you havent had so much experience with estimate your opponents ranges, you are better off by playing a bit tighter rather than loosening up your range!

at these limits im all for raising A2s in HJ simply because they are so bad and I don't follow the tight nit style of pokerstrategy shit chart. :) I know it probably is a bit too weak but I have profit on it so far so no reason to fix what aint broken.
