Think im good pre flop. As I cbet quiet often I think I should of found the fold button when faicing heat. this time it took a 4bet to find the fold

Hello,

Preflop is fine.

I don't like your flop play. Board is pretty borderline to cbet and against unknown I wouldn't mind skipping it.
Once he raises I would just fold and let this go. If you 3bet, then this sizing is extremely weak as he is not going to fold pretty much anything.

Also, how did you come up with this range and what makes you think he's going to be playing like this 55 for example.

Best,
Plamen

I don't like to cbet on this board very often.
I think I would check/fold the flop.

The thing is that you could cbet with I call it "backdoor equity" like getting lucky on the turn with Jacks or Aces, or hit a T on the Flop so you have an OESD. And something to keep barreling.

But I think on this flop you have to discount the spade T, J and Ace and therefore have arround 7 Outs.

If he fold weak pair to the cb, it should be alright. However I don't think villain is folding very frequently because this flop is don't hitting your range very well. So I guess he would call weak pair and therefore you fold equity which is required is to low (61 of 93 combos)

Flopzilla:

Spoiler

As played I would fold after the cbet is raised.

Im Trying to use equilab in my review sessions ( im a newb ), must be making the mistake on not re-evaluating his hand range, guess it would make no sense to think he'd make a play like this with 55.

Blackkiwi, Thank you for your comment, combinations of hands is something im not to familiar with. Going to have to read some articles in near future : )
