The main reason to CB here is still the fact that you are the preflop aggressor, you may easily rep Jx, drawing broadway or some pocket that still beats a lot of cards from BB potential cold call range in BvB, thus forcing the BB to fold.

Rather asking about whether the call on turn was the right move, ask yourself why did you check there in the first place? Giving up the hand? Letting villain bluff, knowing you are ahead? What is your plan for the river then? Check/call? Not likely, unless you hit your A.

I would fold, since seems like you were giving up the action anyway.

Turn didn't improve my hand nor is the J a scarecard, I don't see villain folding a lot of hands that he didn't fold on the flop, so I should give up?

your c/c on turn was pretty obv that your hand wasnt strong.

if i were villain i would bet pot on river regardless of my cards - would you bluff catch me?

p.s. I only need to win 33% of the time for my bluff to work.

assume a pot of $1 and villain bet $1, so you need $1 to call

pot odds = (pot size + villain's bet) to (call amt)
pot odds = (1+1) to 1
pot odds = 2 to 1

break-even = 100/(pot odds added together)
break-even = 100/(2+1)
break-even = 33.3%

33% is what the caller needs. the bluffer needs 50%
