SH NL5 AJ TP 3ways vs short-stack

here my plan on the flop is to check and then bet 2 streets for value. I'm not really concerned when the flush hits because I think that most people will bet their flush draw on this kind of flop, so I bet and the short stack calls. Thinking he probably has a much weaker range (2nd pair, A with a weak kicker) I decide to put him all in and he shows a flush.

How many times will he show a flush there? Do you think he only calls with a flush? What is the correct action here, check your pair of aces down? Would you bet flop?

thanks for the help

Hi NezNanec

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: First off why check the flop to bet two streets after? What's the reason behind it?

Bet flop/turn and get value from draws, Kx, Ax and you can even get 3 streets from worse Ax (he is a fish).

Now, him being potentially fishy I'm not surprised he has a flush. Not all of them bet them on the flop out of fear of a ck/raise. With that being said I don't think you can expect just flushes in his range (I'd estimate 30-50% of the time at most).
