Hi,
$0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $37.30 (149.2 bb)
BB: $29.37 (117.5 bb)
UTG: $26.33 (105.3 bb) 22/18 Hands 282
MP: $25.91 (103.6 bb)
CO: $14.96 (59.8 bb) 41/8 Hands 93, fold to cbet 55 (13), donkbet 0
Hero (BTN): $29.72 (118.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 7 8
UTG raises to $0.75, MP folds, CO calls $0.75, Hero raises to $3, 2 folds, UTG calls $2.25, CO folds

Flop: ($7.10) T 5 Q (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($7.10) 9 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4.50, UTG calls $4.50

River: ($16.10) A (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

I don't squeeze this preflop as default with fish involved, but CO seemed to play fit/fold postflop.

On the flop I'm giving up, missed the board completely.

What range do you put UTG on turn on? My equity improved, the plan was to double barrel to fold... uhm, I really don't know. AJ, JJ maybe? Hard to find much better hands (imo Qx leads the turn), but also it will be tough to get him off his showdown value. Just check it down? Thanks

Hi JohnDoe1313

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: IMO just bet the flop and get him to fold his weak pairs that he calls to set mine in hopes that the fish calls too. And he can fold his other equity in hands like AJ or suited aces that don't hit flop.

As played he can have backdoors, some JJ, Tx and even 88.

River is a great card to bluff on so I'd bet like $9. Afterall you have just 8 high so why check back and lose every time?
