Flop: ($4.25) 8 T 5 (4 players)

Turn: ($23.25) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $14.50, Hero ?

villain looks quite strong. i think bet/calling the flop and then folding on the turn in one oft the worst options. maybe xc flop?

Hey Shalzyvl,

Preflop is fine.

Flop cbet for value is standard here on this texture. Sizing doesn't need to be this large, we can reduce our sizing in multi-way situations. Just because we get raised does not mean x/c would be a better option in the long run.

Given CO is making a large raise into a 4-way pot we can generally give him credit for having a set despite the fact that these are heavily blocked. Most guys are simply not bluff raising like this.

While we wouldn't generally fold the turn if villain had a balanced bluffing range, if he only has value hands in this situation then continuing further with the hand wouldn't make any sense.
