folding river with 2 pair vs. fish

Fold pre-flop. If opponent is a fish and you call, any normal TAG will squeeze you here and this is just burning money.

You forgot to mention that postflop was played fine with no big mistakes. can ppl stop just posting 'fold preflop'. it's a worthless comment.

Sorry, but I agree with nitrol. I think when we see something what we believe it´s a leak it´s good to mention even if the question was different. And here it´s really standard to fold preflop. Many players (including me) will never be in this spot postflop. But yes, would be good to comment postflop too.

I think river is definitely fold. We have 3,4k hands to villain so some info about his x/raise tendencies (and turn aggresion) would be nice. In fact if he´s not super agro I would b/f T. We look very strong and he x/minraise us on T? Seems to me as a pretty nutted hand.

I am saying that if you skip putting yourself in that spot you won't have to ask how to get out of it.

i would just cold call the flop - probably wouldn't have a raising range there

of course you can fold. your equity vs a decent value range is actually really really bad, so he must have some random spazzes in his range

That is the good part of playing with fish...

Fold preflop especially with the guys on the BU and BB behind. Despite the relatively small samples 8+ 3bet means something. On the flop I think it is OK. On the turn despite the min x/r I don't think we have enough equity to call with our 4 outs that are not so clear. River is definitely fold.
