Furthermore rest of them (CO, BTN) certainly dont have better hands than 99 if they have limped. To sum up, if your sure about the fact that you have pretty sure the strongest hand, it's rather obvious, raising in that situation is better choice unless you wanna let them improve 'cos your tired of winning.
Hi, Berezovaya,
After re-reading my OP, I saw this:
Too large, and you either get the blinds and dead money, or get overshoved by (usually) better hands.
I thought: What's wrong with picking up the dead money?
The problem is the trappers, and the people that call any Ax hands.
One is OK -- 64% equity.
Oh my. vs 2 Ax hands we're still ahead.
Equity Win Tie
MP2 20.05% 16.91% 3.15% { A2s+, A2o+ }
MP3 20.05% 16.91% 3.15% { A2s+, A2o+ }
CO 59.89% 59.70% 0.19% { 99 }
I find that a bit surprising.
So with vs a whack of short-stacked pre-flop limp monkeys it is bet at least enough to cause them to commit their stack and be done with it. There is no post-flop play to make other than shoving anyway.
So about 1/2 the shortest stack should do it, I think.
Thanks, all.
Here is the entire hand:
