Villain is a 23/15 with 7.9 3bet in 100 hands.

He has 1 fold and 1 3bet on the SB
And 3 folds 1 call 1 3bet on the BB

So I think he is a standard 2015 reg who knows he has to defend his blinds.

Preflop: 4bet call to the push preflop? fold preflop to his 3bet? (I don't really like either, that's why I ended up cold calling)

Flop: What else could I do on this board? Turn my hand into a bluff? Fold? (I don't really like either, that's why I ended up cold calling)

Turn: Now this is where things get hard. He bets almost pot size giving me bad odds to keep coldcalling with my new OESD + 2 tens to beat his jX and overpairs (that is 10 outs, so about 20% equity). His bet gives me 9.47+7.75/(7.75+9.47+7.75) = 31.04% So I suppose the math is telling me to fold? Or could I push and hope he has some air in his range or that he folds better like AJ (and maybe even QQ+, remember this is full ring )

hello vollrath, I am struggling in this area too if im honest, I think you cant really make an assumption based on 100 hands I think you should fold and wait until you know if he is actually restealing light, also what seems to have helped me is setting stats very specific around that area, like I have on 1 line sb 3b vs btn / bb 3b vs btn/ bb 3b vs sb, this is way more accurate then going off a resteal stat since some players don't 3bet bluff from bb and some players don't 3bet bluff from sb, it seems to have helped me spot where people are bluffing more and where there value 3betting more,

I assigned a standard bluff range to his 3bet range to make 7%

You can see how your 59% equity, this makes it look like a clear call, but im not sure if it is still correct to call, if we think about villains range here he will only continue after the flop when he is in front with his value range, he will probable bet fold some small pocket pairs on K high flops probably bluffing you off, continue with them when he has a set you lose a stack, and suited connectors will only continue with strong draws witch have good equity also and you still have a good chance to be bluffed off and will also cbet bluff k high flops and give you some tricky situations to deal with, I also think this leads to tilt very quickly,

So when he bets the flop 1/2 and the turn full pot it looks like he has something like 89s 99 67s is possible and so is sets and over pairs, but the way the sizing went on the flop then the turn. im thinking the first 3 I mentioned

if your going to play back against these restealers the best option is to 4b 2.5 fold to a shove, I find they also call with some of there small pairs and suited connectors anyway
