Poker Stars $0.44+$0.06 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t100/t200 Blinds + t25 - 2 players

BB: t9959 M = 28.45
Hero (BTN/SB): t3541 M = 10.12

Pre Flop: (t350) Hero is BTN/SB with J :spade: K :heart:
Hero raises to t400, BB raises to t600, Hero calls t200

Flop: (t1250) 8 :heart: 7 :diamond: J :heart: (2 players)
BB bets t400, Hero calls t400

Turn: (t2050) 5 :spade: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t800, BB raises to t8934 all in, Hero calls t1716 all in

I feel like I missplayed this hand. Villain had 42/9 (54h), I saw him 4bAI Q6o for 20bb and bet and call weak holdings. Any other lines you guys would have taken here?

I hate the call OTF. Raising to about 1100 and pushing most turns would be a better line against such a fish.

It’s a little bit suspicious that the BB is making a min 3bet pre-flop.
Could be a tell of him, but not sure if he did that before.

So calling pre-flop is fine I think. On this flop I would stack off on his weak CBet with a raise to approximately 1.000 and call on a shove.

As played the turn seems pretty standard to me.
