Strange bet from leKingRog on turn. It seems like he hitted and forgot to make reasonable bets respecting SPR.
The donk looks like a weak draw, and the J accomplishes that.

ma6inata100, he was that aggro before?

Afulibador i have one similar hand vs him before that : He limps, i made a raise, he calls. Flop : he donks i made a raise he calls, Turn: he made a 1/2 pot bet and i have folded, because i have missed the board. On the flop i raised because i see a weakness in his donk-bet. But after that i have noticed that this was a standard play for him - to limp/call pre and to donk on the flop.

A half pot bet is completely different than a pot size bet on turn.
So it’s likely he was weak in the first hand you played against him and now he has a strong hand for sure with only 630 behind after his bet. A decent bet sizing tell I think.

Cheers,

ma6inata100, I think SDK1987 solved the puzzle.
Its still ok to fold in the first hand, but noting this betting pattern, u could give him more credit by betting bigger in this one.
Calling u really found the meaning of the bet. I just think its a shame we cant give huge use of those notes in tournaments like we can in cash games.

Sometimes, when u really find ur way to crush a guy... they change u to another table _evil:

I completely agree with you, but i still think his range is enough wide, and if he bets enough combos with Top Pair and OESD that balance the better hands like made straight, sets and two pairs. And with the notice that if i loose this hand my stack will still be ok, and the fact that he has only 630 behind i could not find fold vs this player. And i still think that during play is very thought to make this kind of fold here.

For me, is way unlikely he is making this kind of bet on turn w OESD, he would probably shove instead. This bet really looks like a strong made hand that wants to get value.

On the other hand, if he shoves and u include those OESD... the call becames really good cause u already stole two outs from him _drink:

I assume that he can have OESD wtih one pair but if he doesn't have them in his range than our call is not good.

I strongly advocate here that this bet ott is two pair+.
Again, I believe betting draws like this just doesnt make any sense.

Keep rockin friend _thumbsup:
