Vs this villain, I think it's well played. Hi is a real nit and when he decides to raise a cbet (especially a turn cbet), he has top two or better 99% of the time, imo.

Most of his obvious value range is blocked by even nitty BTN vs UTG 3bet ranges.

Either you are being trapped with a monster flat preflop, or it is JT. There are precious few semi bluffs on this board, and precious few hands that can continue that KQ is in front of.

I think we need to turn KQ into a bluff catcher on the turn here after the villain calls the flop. We are not ahead of much that can continue with no flush draws out there. Some Tx and Jx paired hands hoping to gutter out, perhaps with BDFD. Everything else that can continue has us crushed in some way or another - and the villain is super duper nitty for SH.

X-C turn and X-F river if the villain doesn't slow / we don't fill up.

Villains f2cbet is low and he probably got a piece of that flop, I would bet bigger.

I think we still bet this flop to fold out underpairs, protect from gutters and valuetown weak ax kx calls.

I just dont think we have many streets of value here vs a continuing range. Most of what we beat is folding.

By checking the turn we might induce bets from tpbk hands who put us on a kx or qx bluffcatcher. Well, we are on both a kx and a qx bluffcatcher; so that read is technically correct

Cant check the flop though as wr do want to protect the pot from super low equity suckouts. It would be kind of gross to x-x that flop, x-c turn and river and see the villain had turned a set of 2s.

We should never bet solely to protect from low equity suck-outs. That logic applies to limit Holde'm, but in NL it is simply too expensive to try. In other words, giving free cards in FL is a disaster. Not so in NL, because the alternative is too expensive. Old-timers logic (Sklansky's in this case), but still correct in the era of 5-bet/fold ranges.
