Calling river with top pair top kicker in this spot?

I think you should squeeze preflop. If I was on the blinds I would squeeze you as you create a perfect spot for that.
I would call river.

This is not technically a squeeze. But it is a reraise.

Call (unimportant as it is close to BE) and take a note on BB (important as he likes to bluff with second pair 5-handed, but hates to bet trips or better, prime example of inverted logic player).

Call it whatever you want but still I would like to put pressure preflop.

First thing you should have done was squeezed/re raised pre flop. Also, you don't have TPTK. You have top pair with second best kicker. And yes, You should have folded on the river. You can't fall in love with with hands like this, it's tough, but you have to be able to let these types of hands go sometimes.

3bet pre.

As played. I would bet turn myself after villain checks. OTR easy call imo since turn went check check and villain bets only 1/2 pot, no draws possible. I doubt he has AK since he would have bet turn also. If he slowplays trips or hit set OTR it is just bad luck imo.
