Dear folks,
today was a very black friday for my bankroll. I've made many stupid decisions where I knew they weren't reasonable and I was always exactly right with the handreading. I got coolered some times in big pots and a very lot of the time I just did not hit anything and then got somehow mad because I saw soooo many stupid honks betting 4th pair twice and 3betting shit and get away.
I want to share 2 hands with you. Again, I apologize for not being able to convert hands into a format. Maybe someone can link me to a readme for one of those hand converters?
First hand, I am the Cutoff with 8d8s and open to 3bb. BU calls, SB folds, BB calls. Stacks of those two were plus minus 100 BB, I were on 170 BB.
Flop comes 4s5s8c
BB checks, I bet 6,5BB into a 9,5 BB Pot. Button raises to 15 BB, BB folds, I was thinking, mhh 67, huh? And then I 3bet to 45 BB, got the 4bet-push and called with topset, a 8-high bd-flushdraw, 6 outs to a fullhouse and 1 out to the quads.
Long story short, I was right, BB showed 6c7c.
For your information, Turn comes Ah, River 7s and Button wins 204,5 BB.
I do not know at which point the mistake has been made, or if it even was a mistake to stack off with topset on this board (but I guess). I mean, I don't think anyone other than a shortie stacks off light on such a texture, but there are some combos I believe that also stack off like bottom or mid-set, maybe oesd+flushdraw, sometimes you also see Aces or Kings then or just complete Air (which would be clearly a mistake)
It would be appreciated if you share your thoughts on this.
