Dear folks,
today was a very black friday for my bankroll. I've made many stupid decisions where I knew they weren't reasonable and I was always exactly right with the handreading. I got coolered some times in big pots and a very lot of the time I just did not hit anything and then got somehow mad and weak passive because I saw soooo many stupid honks betting 4th pair twice and 3betting shit and get away.
I want to share 2 hands with you. Again, I apologize for not being able to convert hands into a format. Maybe someone can link me to a readme for one of those hand converters?
Second hand, Cutoff opens to 3BB (a player who has LAG-tendencies but he's not too tough to play against and he is sometimes extremly loose on the CO, BU and with his 3bets in SB, BB. He two-barrels a very lot but since he has a weak range you can call quite wide)
BU & SB folds, I call with 2h2s in the BB. Stacks were effectivly 100BB.
The Flop comes 2c6cJh.
I check with planning to check-raise Flop or check-call and check-raise turn. CO bets 4 BB into a 6,5BB pot. I call.
Turn comes Ah. I check. CO bets 9 BB into a 14,5BB pot. I call (in retrospective I really don't know why I did not check-raise at least now. If he is on a draw that would be the time to get the dollars in).
River comes 8c and completes the club-flush. I fear to lose again and check. CO checks and mucks 6h4h.
In retrospective, I think I should've been way more aggressive. Besides, I don't know what else to say about it.
It would be appreciated if you share your thoughts on this. How would you play this hand and why?
