2x potshove on river in 3b pot

1) OTR its an easy call because u are playing most likely against an active fish (98BB stack) who will overplay AK+ here all day
2) i dont like check back OTT, Donk+ check is usually a weak line and u should make valuebet here to get paid from TT-KK, + that way u keep innitiative and have an option to check back river unimproved if u feel like you are outkicked by an Ace. I feel like i could extract value here around 2$, more he probably does not pay off with hands mentioned above.

I'm with you up until the turn, where I bet when he checks to us, probably for between $4.50-$5.50. I've seen a lot of players do this with their aces and KK-TT's in this spot; I'm guessing hoping their show of strength the street before will freeze you from betting twice against them, and they tend to C/C on the turn hoping to showdown. You have what could be the best hand, you have a lot of equity if you don't and you have a player that looks like he could be sticky with a weaker range. It also gives you the option to check behind OTR if the board doesn't come out favorable. Get some money in with good equity and the ability to make a good decision on the river.

As played, I'm not including 67 in his range (another perk of betting the turn: it enables us to define his range more) and am calling.

It would be insane if he had 67 here. So I can’t fold the river either.
The turn you are indeed most likely in front, but I can’t see so many weaker hands that would call on the turn either. So checking behind isn’t too bad I think with so many outs for you on the river, but a thin value bet was most likely better.

Thanks for all the feedback. I called and villain did indeed have 67ss even though I was not expecting it. But yeah I think that he can still have a lot worse hands here so calling should be ok.

I agree that calling the river is totally fine here. Don't blame you to check back the turn after all the action, but we could make a bet.

I would call too but def say to myself that it is always the same with fish at the micros...
