Hi,

I'm not sure how I should play this hand, should I 3Bet preflop, call or just fold it preflop?

If you want to 3bet with the big antes in play I would push here with a 24bb stack and that would be my standard line here. As played you can’t do much else than folding I think.

Thanks for the qick reply! Right, that's true, I forgot that I had less than 25BB left there. Should have been a shove.
Do you know anyone who will do a full hand analysis for some charge?

I guess you want some private coaching or so. Than is the thread https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=2052705#post2052705 maybe something for you. Otherwise I wouldn’t know who else would do it on the moment.

Yeah, I have some hands that I want to review but I don't want to post like 30 hands here all at once :)
Ok thanks I will check it out!

I have one more question, thinking about the hand why do I want to reshove it there with 25BB, can't I rereaise with 3BBs there? I try to follow the Asaban MTT beginner strategy, and according to that one it should be a fold preflop, but seems to tight play? And according to that one I can only resteal when a player has more that 20BB and raises from CO or later?
What are your thougt on that?

Here is the link Asaban MTT beginner strategy:

Add me on Skype (samniville). I'm willing to go over your hand history free of charge. I'm not the best but I think i'm above avg and reviewing hand histories is beneficial for me aswell!

Why do we have to push with a 24BB stack?
I thought that we play according to the push or fold strategy if we have 13BB or less.
Please explain this for me.

Because its not an open shove, its a shove over an open raiser so you can shove for more BB

So how do the rules look like?
When do we have to shove in such a situation?
Could you explain it a litlle bit further?
I would really appreciate it.

I think its generally something like if you have a hand you would normally open shove if you were around 10-15BB then when you are 20-25BB you can shove over an open raise, the amount of BB's is only a rough guide you can be flexible
At the micros if I am OOP and have a hand I don't want to 3bet small like a mid PP I might shove for more say 30BB, some people may disagree with this but it seems to be working out OK for me at the moment
