It’s good to know if you have any reads on the villain here, but most of the time I would call the river as well with top 2 pair. A 2 isn’t likely in his range and a full house ether. The only logic hand that improves here is AT, but I don’t think someone will 3 barrel it and he can have a missed flush draw as well. I think you played it well.

How many hands do you have on him?
Our hand is not the nuts on this board so I think just calling there is fine.

I had 70 odd hands so not much to go on , i wasn't sure if raising the flop was correct to charge draws .

You are playing vs UTG's 3bet calling range. He doesn't have any draws except AK. By raising you would probably isolate yourself vs better hands.

It wasn't a 3bet la55i , 65 vpip villain limp called.

That makes things a lot more difficult. We have no clue what his range is and how he plays postflop.
I still don't think it is necessary to start raising with TPGK.

This is a type of hand that I will gladly let him bet at me. Just call.With raising, you will foldallhis bluffs, part of his weak draws and narrow his range to hands that beat us.

You played it fine, don't raise at any point per nitrol's post. (It applies to the river as well.)

Thanks for the reply's , @ Yohan , raising the river was never an option tbh , i was wondering on the flop vs such a fishy player. Would people raise for value .

I wasn't sure whether i was just letting him choose his own price on his draws and could also have lots of worse TP , being such fishy stats.

If i raise flop for value and he shoves i have an easy fold i think . But should i raise flop for value vs this villain . I wasn't sure if the call down line was best vs this player type.

Don't confuse fishy players with players who hate money. The former are common, but the latter are extremely rare.

You have no value raise anywhere and, while it is possible that he puts his own choice of price for his draws, you can't play against that part of his range only. He has nuts and air as well, and against that (bigger) part of his range, a raise is totally counterproductive.

By the way, the "raise-the-fish'es-donk-reflex" is very easy to exploit.
