NL2 overpair on a low board

I'm new at this but I don't see a lot of value to play this hand putting more money in the pot, because the villains has much more pot equity to improve this range (if is not winning now) than you.

I can agree with pre call because deep but OTF I would fold.
Your chance of hitting a set is very small so if you call you are only hoping that 1) villain doesn't have anything good or hit anything good and 2) you can outplay villain on later streets.

So, you called to hit a set. You didn't so now it is time to give up

I don't think the only reason to call pre is because you are deep so you can setmine. You are calling because your opponent has lots of AK and AQ combos in his range and you are flipping/slightly ahead of those, not even considering his 3-bet bluffing range (typically consisting of Axs and suited connectors). So normally on this flop you should be calling most of the time, BUT: NL2 3-betting ranges tend to be tighter (I don't know the particular player, just in general) especially in a blind vs utg situation AQ and maybe even AK tend to flat at these limits. His pot sized bet also suggests he is probably holding something in the QQ-AA range. People at NL2 love to bet huge and overplay these hands. So while normally this would be a pretty clear call, in this particular situation I would suggest folding. Even if he is ocasionally holding AK or something like that he is not going to slow down and you cannot comfortably call another street.

People should learn how to fold against 3bets pre-flop more often
