Does anyone have a preconceived plan when playing a tournament do you play a certain way in the early part do you play tight with no bluffing. In the middle part are you getting involved with more hands will you bluff if your stack is dwindling or are you still waiting to pick your spots with good hands. When you get to the late stages how many big blinds are you still prepared to raise, raise fold and with what amount of big blinds is it just all in. I ask as a below average tournament player who could perhaps incorporate some ideas into his game I think my ROI is near the average but mostly am just getting over the bubble line.

I think it depends on the table dynamic and how the rest of the table is playing.

If you're just getting past bubble you're probably playing scared and/or too tight when approaching bubble time. This is a period when there's a lot of free chips to be gained as others are in the same boat and won't want to risk their tournament lives or get dragged in to the bubble mire. Again though it does rely on table dynamics. If there's a big stack doing their job then opportunities to steal will decrease but there's a good opportunity to double up through him. It's all about picking your spots.
