Preflop is standard, 1 opp calls. Flop comes rainbow, I have a gutshot and overcard. What is the best play here? Should I cbet or check-call if he bets small? I hadn't ideas what to do there and how can I make this hand profitable, so I just folded. Opp stats are 42 VPIP, 4 PFR and 3-bet 0, weak loose player.
In my opinion his calling range could be any Ax, any pocket pairs, all broadway combos and maybe some K8s+, T9o, J9o etc. It is about 30% of hands. Depending on his range I am still 54-46 favourite on the flop, sad thing is that I am OOP.
So what is your opinion?

In my point of view, the best line was check/fold, you were at the beginning of SnG and as you didn't have a good equity [you didn't have 2 barrels] and there are a lot of hands into villain's range that he will pay you as Any K, T9, J9, etc.
If you put in equilab the villain will keep a good amount of combos from his initial range on this board.

Is he folding alot vs cbet? If he is like hit or fold, i would cbet especially oop, you have also some K on your range and he might fold. If it's less likely that he folds, being a passive player, check seems ok. On mp i should expect a stronger range but he is a fish so they don't care about position, could have many hands.

I think your line is fine. I doubt he would bluff to often on the flop and is check/folding fine against a passive player with only 4 outs for a straight. If you have some reads on him that he folds a lot on Cbets I would Cbet for sure.
