I raise preflop with A6s from MP and get one call from the CO
Flop comes and I bet approx. half pot to get value from any overpairs, any possible high A-x that might see a turn and flush draw. When he re raises I'm conflicted with trying to getting it in vs calling and keeping worse hands in. I do call and if the turn is a heart ill slow down if not ill continue to play aggressive with any other peel
Turn I decide to check raise. He played aggressive on the flop and if he has a over pair,on this card he is going to need to bet again to protect against flush draws and get value if he thinks his over pair is higher than mine (assuming he thinks I have one). When I re raise I am surprised we don't get it in on the turn
The river comes and based on turn action I bet small to get a call or induce and when he shoves I make the call
1. Should I be 3 betting the flop instead of the re raise turn?
2. Is the turn re raise too small to get it all in? perhaps that's why he made the easy call because of odds
3. What would be your river bet in this spot?
