Hi,
I'm on a downswing and do not know if I played this one correctly.
SB: 116.4 BB (VPIP: 35.92, PFR: 27.46, 3Bet Preflop: 16.36, Hands: 148)
Hero (BB): 149 BB
UTG: 49.6 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)
MP: 100 BB (VPIP: 30.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 16.67, Hands: 10)
CO: 115 BB (VPIP: 30.00, PFR: 23.57, 3Bet Preflop: 6.35, Hands: 143)
BTN: 78.8 BB (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 11.11, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 18)
SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB
Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A♦ T♦
fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to 3 BB, Hero calls 2 BB
I like to call here against that type of a player with this hand.
Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) A♣ 8♦ Q♦
SB bets 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB
Turn: (12 BB, 2 players) 4♣
SB checks, Hero bets 6 BB, SB raises to 20 BB, Hero calls 14 BB
River: (52 BB, 2 players) 6♥
SB bets 28 BB
Now the question is not so much about exactly this hand but more about 5NL and being what is called 'balanced'?.
What I mean is if you fold to all this aggression you will be run over at 5NL I think. You simply have to catch bluffs.
So folding the turn is not in question but when a blank hits the river should I fold???
I think this is a suckout. What do you guys think. Suckout or 'great' poker play of villain?
Spoiler
, Hero calls 28 BB
Yes my friends. When you run like shit you loose to this shit ALL the time.
When you run like a poker god you win all this type of shit ALL the time.
