So based on the range that I gave him for flating jj+ maybe some times but not really TT, and AKs and AKoff, and sometimes some combos of AQs on that flop I am crushing his range... I block all combos of Aheart flush draw so I am like 92%-95% to win the hand...

so Flop I c-beted small with intention to call all in... Turn I bet again small to induce bluffs and for him to try to catch up with hands that I crush like KK with 1 heart, and qq with 1 heart...

I did leave room for him to bluff rise all in...

When he shows up on the turn with that hand I was not even thinking that someone cold call 99 oop vs 4 bet from MP... so He got me there....

Do you guys like mine play and thinking ideas in the hand?

I think the hand was played well and your reasoning looks good.

If villain for some reason 3bets wide and uses small pocket pairs frequently, then he probably should call that 99 vs a 4bet. Otherwise he could be defending too little vs 4bets and you should 4bet him like crazy. However, my opinion is that 99 shouldn't even be in his 3betting range. I checked what Snowie would do here pre-flop and it uses a lot looser 3betting range that has small pockets with some frequency, which I don't personally like. It would 3bet 99 only 9% of the time pre, but when facing a 4bet it would call with 55-JJ and QQ with some freq.

Thank you very much! When I discussed this hand with a friend that is not part of PS community he suggested Check on turn....where I saw that action as pure wasting EV with mine hand and fact that I am crushing his 4bet calling range range!

Yea I really expect villain would most often have JJ,QQ,AK, then if he 3bets more pocket pairs pre --> some of those. If you choose a smaller sizing you can probably get value from those overpairs and also maybe from some 2 overcards + FD combos. Small sizing should work fine there.

If you check OTT and the river is a fourth heart it can kill the action. There are some other bad cards too like non heart J or Q. Then if villain ships it OTR you probably are not very happy :f_biggrin:
