AKo top pair in a 4-bet pot vs a shove

well, i don't like 4-bet PF with AKo, unless i had stats from the villain.
As played, your're commited to the pot and it's difficult to fold on the flop with your TPTK.
However, in a 4bet pot, the raise from the villain OTF, at this stakes, shows real strength and you're probably beated. I would put him in a range like QQ,AQ or AK (with AA i think he would shouve PF).

I would have played this hand the exact same way. People will show up with a lot of other crappy hands ( weaker than AQo ) which will pay you off.
In a 3bet or 4bet pot for 100BB with AK on Axx flops you just have to go for it. Well played IMO

if you cold 4b AKo, you might aswell size down to e.g. 21bb pf.
sizing on the flop as played, you should size down on the flop (to keep his floats in (read: weaker) hands in, so a 1/3 potbet +-18bb would be much better. This way the pot is 96bb and you have an easy shove on the turn.

Preflop I 4b/broke vs unknown reg from the BTN as well.
Flop is super ugly for us, because AQ and QQ is certainly in his 4bet calling range and beats us - saw this a couple of times. Vs AK we have a split.
With your big cbet on the flop I think we are isolating ourselves against better hands. Since we do not have to protect a lot I would even consider x/c and hope that bluffs or AT/AJ betting.

Your raise pre-flop is not big enough to compensate for being OOP, CO should have a very strong range as-well after he flats your 4-bet with an aggressive player behind him left to act. On the flop I think equities will run close both players should have similar ranges, I think board should connect decently well with both ranges so I think checking since we are OOP is good.
