6max set at monotone flop on 3bet pot

I prefer calling mid pairs vs utg, just too set mine because even in position there hard too play in a 3 bet pot

Pre-flop callling is most likely better, but a 3bet isn't to bad. Post-flop seems standard on this ugly run out.

Calling preflop is the better option imo. Utg has a strong range and is more likely to pay you off if you hit your set. You will get 4 bet by the hands that often flop overpairs, so you cant get value from them by 3betting.

I like the 3bet preflop. I need to include more PP under TT in my 3bet range vs UTG/HJ open myself. It's a good strategy to have because often times you get to set mine all five street at relatively reasonable cost because you represent a strong image postflop.

Prefer calling pre myself.

At nl5 calling might be ok as i dont expect somebody to squeeze light, however, the more you go up the more you have to 3bet in this spot.

I would block the turn 1/3 in position and decide how to continue depending on what he does. If he raises i would calculate odds vs flush and eventually call because i dont think i can fold any set in this spot.

if he calls i might check behind river depending on card and action.

When you bet the turn you also charge all his Qx hands with a spade as well as all his Jx type of hands like AQ/KQ/QJ/AsJ, etc. not to mention guthots with K of spade, etc.

River is shit so folding is ok, i never expect you to be good here
