NL16 6Max, AQs on Hj, tough spot

I usually 3bet this preflop vs UTG.
Flop ok, check-back and realize your equity instead of ruining it.
You need around 30% equity OTT to call and I'm not sure if you have it (pot odds I'll let you calculate them, it's a good exercise). BTN usually (I meant always, I'm sorry) has a str8 here when he raises 3-way, so your overcards may be dead. That's why I'd fold turn. There's implied odds when you hit the K and he has an 8, but still.
The river lead is very face up with that size, so I'd go smaller. I like the lead though because that board goes check/check very often OTR. As played, you hit your card so all the chips in the middle and don't worry about KQ.

If he is counterfeited then yes, he has reasons to bluff/shove on river.

You certainly could but AQs overplay is a leak of mine. In fact, it's the only hand among premium range that is in red numbers.

So, I'm trying to do things differently here. If I 3bet pre here I highly doubt that the lag on BTN will fold his hand though.

i guess small block bets are a great way too induce bluff raises,
AQ would probably be a 3 bet tho as villain probably dosent have a 4bet range with worse

Why not check call river as Button is showing aggression on turn?
We are splitting so many times that it does not matter, I don't think we are loosing value as if he would not have any kind of hand he would have just called the turn.

I thought of that. Check calling river, however, if he raised turn with 8x for a straight then we risk a check back from him on river. That is why it is very difficult not to lead on river when we make a higher straight to the board.
