To be 'even money' we need 14 outs.

So lets see what we have got here.

definetly clean outs are our flush draw outs: 9 outs

and we also have a gutshot here: every TEN (despite the TEN of spades because it is already included in our 9 flush draw outs) so 3 gutshot outs.

12 outs total.

THe problem is we have to be a bit dangerous with our other outs. a holding like AJ/KJ or AQ/KQ is possible so we can not be sure if an ace comes up we will have the best hand.

But all in all i would say we can give ourselves 2 outs for over overcards so we get a total of 14 outs.

So your raise on the flop is perfect play.

But we also raise here with less outs.

Lets say the board is 2JQ rainbow so we don't have a Flush Draw i want to raise here to take a freecard on the turn. Ii would also go for a 3bet if villain would go for a check/raise here.

When you are in position you can always play your draws a bit more aggressive on the flop - heads up with the goal to take the freecard on the turn.

By the way that is also the reason why should play your made hands - out of position - more aggressive.

Although i must admit i don't know if that is so important at these low limit fullring games. But keep that in mind for later.

Hm i see this in a more simple way.

On the Flop u raise for value wich is good. If we hit a flush draw on the Flop we will make our flush 35% off the time plus u have a gotshut straight draw so we must raise for value here. On the Turn our Hero makes his gutshot and still has 9outs for his nut flush. I would definalty cap the turn to and try to cap the river to.

Our hero has the nuts right? No way villian has AK cos he would definatly re-raise u pre-flop( almost every fish knows he has to cap his AK). And even if he has u would split the pot.
