Hello. In advance sorry for my English because I'm from other country. I hope for indulgence.

I want start from this that I was little tricked by pokerstars, but it's blame of no knowledge and I couldn't get correct answer even from support. (let's skip this lol :f_mad:). I just have a few questions about how exactly works this damn progress bar especially when I will not fill in it. So there we go:

1. I Exchanged my progress bar 620/935 points (Bronze level 0/5) for smaller level of chests cause I was sure that I will not fill in progress bar. What I get in result? Of course I get ONE BLUE CHEST (which is equivalent to 333 points) and my progrss bar is now 0/333 with 1 blue chest winned. So It means I burned near 300 points of rake lol. I was really angry on option of exchange. Can someone explain me how it exactly works? Could I wait for 666 points to exchange it for two chests or could it be same shit with only one chest won and totally reseted progress bar?

2. I wondered about this that maybe better to wait with these 620/935 points till the deadline will expire. I heard somewhere that I will get equivalent benefit from this. It's true or it's next bullshit? (I mean 1 blue chest 333point + 287/333 progress bar) In my country pokerstars site don't work properly and I need use some shit proxy sites. I mean - Is it next trick? If I will not fill in progress bar will I burn all effort and there will be no recompense? And I will be on lower level with 0/0?

3. If I'm on Bronze or bigger level and I will win one chest and I will be on 1/5 progress. Then will I get next chest with date 28 days? I mean will I have next 28 days to fill in it? And second thing - Need I earn 5 chests in 28 days period to get Silver level for example? I mean - this progress in chest will be lower and lower depends on time when I earned chests right?

Thanks from advance and greetings. :f_thumbsup:

Hi Sknerus,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com EN Community forums :welcome:

If you exchange your chest, you should get the point value you have applied to the new, lower chest level.

I did this recently as well, and I got one chest for my points, and the new lower chest progress bar started at zero.

The details are here:
https://www.pokerstars.com/stars-rewards/
But they don't say what happens when you exchange

from a conversation with PokerStars support
You can exchange your progress bar for a smaller Chest at any time, no matter how much progress you've completed at your current level. For instance, you could have a Diamond Chest, earn 1 reward point, and immediately exchange it for a Gold Chest.

I asked this question:

So if I have 1 point done on a gold chest, and exchange, I get one silver complete, then start working on silver #2

And that was the answer I got

I would just try to fill the bronze level chest. I expect you can easy fill it up in 28 days or you decreased a lot of playing this month. My experience in the blue level is that that I need to play at least 1 time per 28 days to not lose my progress. Not sure it's on higher chest levels as well.

Cheers,

Correct.
If you don't fill a chest in 28 days, you revert to the next lowest level.
If you fill enough chests in a 28 day period you move up.
If you're at the lowest level, you stay there if you don't fill the chest, but in that case you start over at 0

I was tormenting pokerstars support after all and I get right answer. So things are like this:

1. When you exchanging you will receive always only ONE chest if you have points for it (no matter if you have more points equivalent for two or more chests from lower level) and totally reseted bar
2. After deadline it works like option of exchange, so you burning rakeback if you manage it bad
3. You have 28 days to fill in single chest, but to level up you need fill in 5 or more progress bars in period 28 days (otherway your level will decrease slowly and it depends on days when you earned earlier chests)

So I recommend peoples to manage it good. There is no any explain on pokerstars site. Otherway you losing your points and potential rakeback which can affect on this that you are break even instead of winning player :). GL on tables.
