MP had been on tight side. Perhaps opening like 15-20%. CO is total maniac, 3betting all sort of stuff. Including AT85r. So my hand will "crush" (over 60% equity) MP range. Nasty side though is that I am 140bb deep versus MP but I would assume I can get most non AAxx hands to fold. If he does 5bet I would be committed though as my hand versus AAxx will have around 40% equity and it would be 107bb for pot of 290bb if CO folds.

But yeah I suppose cold call is also option. On flop CO has 66bb behind so SPR 1. If villain has Kx+ I will often have still 20% equity so I think shove is probably best.

Tricky hand, but against a aggressive 3better a 4bet bluff seems reasonable as PLO fish.
Not sure you need to pot bet the flop to get villain out of the hand.

I´d rather cold-call if I want to play at any price. Without A or K and 2 gaps we are not pushing equity anymore (we are also not pushing much with QQJJ or JJTT either) and we have no A-blocker so MP might wake up with Aces. Double-pairs ip fit better to take a flop because their set-value gives higher implieds. In position those hands are not very benefitial for the lowest SPR´s. Despite the lack of nuttiness for the upcoming SPR it is sufficient we are double-suited and should have enough visibility to evaluate some spr1 flops.

It makes more sense to 4-bet hands like AKJTds, AJJTds, AKK4rb or AQQ9sa.

Flop is a check back. We have showdown-value and 2 backdoorflushdraws that could improve our equity significantly also inducing villain to probe shove the turn with a bluff. It´s a way-ahead-way-behind situation where we our hand is merged area. We are not getting anything worse to call (that would not broke the turn aswell) and we are not folding out anything better (any King that might call has us beat).

As I said versus this maniac range we are pushing equity advantage (bit over 60%). Anyway I did shove flop and got called by some T854ss type hand.

Flop might be better to check but there is some value also in equity denial. Plus these sort of players do call any sort of hit often. Even plain gs.

If you expect to be called by hands like T854 pre and any pair and a very wide 3bet-calling range otf guess the flop shove is okay. Pocket pairs usually have 2 outs so you do not give a lot of free equity which still would not justify a shove so you are aiming for a 3 or 5 to call which is not that frequent assuming he is 3-bet/calling somewhere below 25%. Even if he reraises more than 40% we still have to estimate the quality of our flop interactions which means we need a checking range no matter how loose villain is. You probably do not have a lot of middling pocket pairs like 66-99 in your 4bet range in general so it makes sense to start check-back QQ, JJ and TT with mediocre backdoor-equity.

With KKTTds or KK99ds it would be a lot easier. And with JJ88ds it would be a lot easier too.

Queens are a bit more problematic cos it is a decently high pocket pair (we want to have in-built showdown value) but there are 2 overcards that can make higher pair. If opponent has A or K in his hand, his equity is dramatically improved.

Versus 30% range without Ace or King we have 70%, against that 30% range with Ace or King we have 55%.

Yea. QQ´s in PLO are such a "inbetween" hand so weird not like in NLHE where if you´d expand you just add AK and QQ. :-D And solver (as always) just mixing everything perfectly which is not a help if you want to actually apply something memorizable for the calls.

When I check high pairs in solver, to see where solver draws line regarding hand strengths. Just everything in any action, but 50% half pot 50% poz or call 60% etc just for every pair no matter if KK or QQ or 77 or 66 at all streets from flop to river. Even blocker effect are not that significant that it would shift more than 20% of an actions´ frequency in many situations.
