Once the cards were revealed, I realized I misread his hand so I asked to run it just once to punish myself.

The villain is a tag.

Thoughts?

With 9 outs for a flush and 3 extra for a straight it's tough to continue with only middle pair.
I expect you are always beat and you aren't sure the ace and quee outs could help you if you call villains shove.
Even if that's the case a call would be marginal.

yeah winning over 200 bay bays hurts :mdr:

V could also float with AcTc. Would QhTh be a fold to this turn shove?

It's hard to explain, but to punish yourself, it means that you want to lose the hand so if you win you are disappointed. If you are not disappointed then your heart is not in the right place.

JhTh is what I had him on but QhTh might be fold because it's not the nut draw. You want the Ace high draw here, imo.

IP I would consider check back on the turn for exactly that reason that just happened to you. You have plenty of outs, but the x/shove turn seems so strong.
