No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (BB) ($200)
UTG ($698.80)
MP ($40)
CO ($155.30)
Button ($588.40)
SB ($274)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, Q
3 folds, Button bets $7, 1 fold, Hero raises $20, Button calls $15

Flop: ($45) 4, 3, 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $32, Button calls $32

Turn: ($109) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $45, Button calls $45

River: ($199) A (2 players)
Hero bets $101 (All-In), Button calls $101

Total pot: $401

BU: seemed regular, had been around 1-2 rounds at the table.
I think turn is interesting spot, I could likely c/c maybe, but not sure how often does he bet there 77-JJ, so I thought b/f is also one option.
River is also difficult, if I check and he shoves I hate myself, but likely have to call since pot is so big and most of the times we split, so if I´m going to call shove anyway, then I think I can shove myself and hope he doesn´t call at some times.
How would you play turn and river?

i like the line for reasons u mentioned, but: i dont like the betsizing on flop, bcs of it we create a big pot on turn already where we are comitted on river then as u mentioned..

i still prefer to be betting ~ 1/2 pot on flop also here: also coz: he can be more inclined to be r, after which we ofc shove it; but most importantly: u dont mention any stats for him, but generally: we create muchh more fold equity on river with having 2/3 of pot left, and i d still play it the very same way esp if hes tight ofc.. just shove the river if he didnt raise the turn /if he s a reg, with no history he s almost always r with 6 there on turn imo, coz we re never foldin Ax /if we dont have A he knows he doesnt get anything more on riv anyw/ and there are quite some cards he might be afraid that ruin either his hand or some of the action on river, like definitely: A, 2-6, maybe clubs.

so by betting flop smaller .. then pot on turn is a lot smaller, again ~1/2 on turn where we get to know he most prolly doesnt have a 6 and then shoving river he s put into rly much worse decision to be calling wit bad odds for the split.. this way with 3:1 he s never folding..

since player was unknown to me I think he´d expect me to bet out larger on the flop with AK, since I don´t really have any showdown value on that baord, also that gives him good chances to bluffraise there or call/raise value with overpairs.
And by betting out big on the flop I can b/c turn 60$ and expect to be ahead a lot of times.

i understand your reasoning, but i think it s unnecessarily overemphasized. i mean: in general in 3 bet pots u need at most 2 streets when resistance is shown to get it in, or 3 when it isnt.. so the betsizing is usually ~ 1/2 pot or slightly above and it gets u by river into the spot u can oop: A, shove with some fe; B, c and induce sth that looks like has a fe itself, when u wanna c/c ...

--> this betsizing is so weird that on river u re in a mode: do i shove myself or w8 for him to shove coz i know i am comitted so what do i do? ?( ;(
--> this is obv unwanted, and playing vs unknown doesnt make things any different in this regard

if u see your reasons for inducing on flop still.. than u have to much more underbet the turn so that u still get into ~ 2/3 of potsize left on river.. /and also: this makes perfect sense since it looks actually ugly for him if we bet there supersmall and he can suspect our bigger shove on river..

I read you post twice, but I still don´t understand, why
- I need to bet smaller on the flop, since I would bet/shove there always and if he has pair/overpair he doesn´t fold my flop bet and if turn is blank then he can choose either shoving or folding- or if he is fish, then he can also call 2/3 bet on the turn and then also call river.

if u want to be betting big alw and just putting 3bet pots in asap, with no awareness abt fe, or diff cheap bluff spots for future, also max value.. then go ahead, bet big flop and also turn.. /but remark: u surely know u re comitted on any river there right? --> so maybe just shove the turn next time ;) / ..

sorry cant explain more..

First of all i'd make it a bit bigger preflop since you're OOP, i like to 3bet to $24 in this spot.

As played i like you're betsizing very much.
Maybe you could bet a bit smaller on the flop because you'll often be unimproved on this flop and you want to bluff cheaper, a smaller bet will maybe induce something and you're fine with your hand if it gets called.

At the turn i think this betsize is very cool:
You will get value from middle pocket pairs and if he shoves imo you still can fold.
This is because Ax is such a big part of your range that i would not expect him to bluff in this spot.
At the same time if he calls and the river blanks i think you should shove all in and he could be herocalling with some pocket pairs.

I don't think he has Ax on the turn oftentimes since he would 4bet AK most of the time and most people don't call AQ and worse Ax on this flop (with AK they might because they have cleaner outs on A and K vs your range).
