turn/river - bet pot size

Yeah bet sizing is a bit small. As played, this is never a fold. You can't give BU credit for hitting a Backdoor draw, pot odds are really good, + he can be doing this for value with worse hands.

now i think check call river would be the best line.

4/5 both flop and turn, if he calls it'll be with pair+draw hands that won't fold anyway. Once the river "blanks out" we're probably only getting called by AQ/KQ so I think we can bet bigger again, 2/3 is ok. There is no way i'm check/calling since he won't bet anything we beat really, even JT will usually check back "with showdown value" instead of bluffing.

As played you can't give him 77 nor 44, so there is no way he rivered nor turned a set. Most likely he slowplayed a flopped straight, maybe 99 or two pairs tho he should raise on earlier street with that more often than not. Not many reason for him to show up with a bluff raise when you give him decent odds to just call either. QcXc also makes sense and you'll often end up getting shown such a hand when the flush backdoors and not much seem to make sense.

I guess the more i respect villain's play the more i'm inclined to fold. Against an unknown at nl10 most likely i'm always calling unless something spooks me.
