Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$250/$500 No-Limit Hold'em (2 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BB$4020.00:///////;SB (Hero)$9480.00:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7:c, 8:s.
Hero raises to $9,480.00, BB calls $3,520.00(All-In).

Flop: ($13500) T:h, 6:s, 2:s (2 players)

Turn: ($13500) 3:h (2 players)

River: ($13500) 9:c (2 players)

Final Pot: $13500.

My opponent was quite tight so I thought I have some fold equity and I don't run that bad against Ax (x<5), which he called a lot with. High pocket pairs crush me, AT+, etc, etc. Any thoughts?

As a side note, this SnG was my biggest come back ever. I had 25 left and lost hope because it was just 1SB and I was the SB. got lucky with Q4, then a few hands later got KK, AQ, they kept calling and I was no longer the shortest stack :f_cool:

Yer I would do this too if he is indeed quite tight in his calling range. But I wouldn't push much less than this in the 8x part of my range.

Villain has 8bb. Easy shove with mid connectors HU.
nh wp... and nice catch on the river :P

nice push, you can definitely push this hand with 8bb effective against most opponents, especially the tight ones
