posts SB 150, posts BB 300

Dealt to Hero A♠ K♠

fold, fold, Villain calls 300, Hero raises to 750, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Villain calls 450

FLOP 5♣ 9♣ 7♦
Villain bets 7370 and is all-in
Hero ????

Villain was very aggressive since the beginning of the tourney and had a very weird betting pattern. Would he had done that had he a real hand?

I've seen this extremely aggressive pattern from many players several times during tournaments.

in a freeroll you can shove this preflop but should bet more anyway like 1200-1500

as played on flop its a fold

The Villain does not need much to be ahead of AK. If he has "just a flush draw" then he can easily have 15 outs or more since he has pairing outs. A gutshot may mean 10 outs.

On some boards, you can take a stand with AK unimproved, but coordinated boards are bad for AK.

Board: 9♣ 5♣ 7♦

...........equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 47.103% 46.01% 01.09% 492403 11693.00 { A♠K♠ }
Hand 1: 52.897% 51.80% 01.09% 554401 11693.00 { random }

By contrast:

Board: T♠ T♥ 3♦

........... equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 64.578% 63.05% 01.53% 674783 16329.00 { A♠K♠ }
Hand 1: 35.422% 33.90% 01.53% 362749 16329.00 { random }

Great reply pzhon.

You should raise more preflop. Easiest way would be to push preflop as there are about 1000 chips in the pot already.
On the flop you have to fold.
