first i was thinking folding preflop... but i call...

my read was somtihng like 66-TT and some AK,AQ things... cant put him on KK,QQ ... coz he didint cbet flop and wasnt raising my turn bet.. obv he slowplayed me ... JJ he would probably not minbet preflop... im lost in this hand ... probably played it like

As I see it..

J9o was an obvious fold unless you thought he was blindstealing, in which case defend you blinds by raising.

By calling you got what you deserved, a terrible spot, AJ, QJs JTs, poss even KJs, are probably in his range and have you dominated. A min-raise could also indicate small pairs 22-66 in which case 444 and 555 are real possibilities.

A donk bet on the flop would have been my next move, if I got a raise - fold - a call, then I would check the turn, min raise the river, folding to any raises.

I'd definetly fold preflop, J9o is a horrible hand to play oop and your stack is amazing for this stage of the tourney.

I play c/f on the river, he will probably check back 66-TT . since he checked back the flop his range doesn't have enough air to worry about him bluff shoving the river.

on river u have to fold ... ur hand isnt strong enough

If villain is TAG reg I would assume he is push/folding for the most part. So when he suddenly min raises I would assume monster if I do not have any info.
That is why I would fold preflop.

perfectly played. any other lines and you gon' get raped by mr. 44% blindsteal ;). now if you had specific reads on betsizing sure you can take a different line (notably folding pre). with no antes in play (please correct me if i'm wrong here), villain can definitely make a raise preflop with a wider range rather than pushing or folding (which seems high variance and simply not the best line). payouts kinda on the steep side as well so i wouldn't say we're extremely risk averse here either.

river's close but i think there are enough kq aq etc comboes in his range for me to make the herocall. but it really boils down to 15bb, we has top pair, i call.
