So as I'm writing this I'm playing some MTTs and realize my skill level is nowhere where it used to be. I've given poker a shot again a few times, different formats, I ended up getting a super hot run and ran up a bankroll quite quick to about $400, BRM wasn't the best I'll admit and I started a downward spiral.
Basically I was following "Asabans" https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=314586&goto=firstnew thread and I thought it created great fundamentals to start beating micros again. I'm sure it has helped but after following it for awhile I've started to lose quick significantly again.
I've played a ton of tornys during this SCOOP period with no real results, couple of deep runs but no big scores, just slowly dwindling the BR away.
I satellited into a few bigger tournaments and like I said, as I'm writing this I'm playing the $109 SCOOP ME and I bought a subscription to sharkscope and I'm basically up against crushes and it's hitting the ego pretty hard.
Situation is that I'm pretty lost as to what to do. I'm not winning at the smallest of MTTs <$1.10(created a filter on stars and have followed it quite seriously other than 50c-$1.10 satellites). BTW^^^^ I won that $109 SCOOP ME ticket when I had the $400~ BR.
I guess I need some guidance or some people to talk strategy and go over databases and hands. I'm not in a financial way to do coaching.
I've played a lot of MTTs lately so I've got quite a big sample size I suppose for such a short period.
I've got some ideas as to why I might be losing but I'd like to share some ideas with others. I know its quite beneficial to share thoughts.
Timezone is Australia so preferably someone from around that timezone but can organise other times as well if it works with work.
While playing I've been watching some twitch streams, mostly lex veldhuis, xflixx, staples, spraggy, henri, they play much higher levels so I don't think I can really apply things to well at micros, I dunno, could be wrong.
If you got through that wall of text, congrats.
