Olympiakos - Rubin Kazan 1-0. Great performance from Roy Caroll who kept the clean sheet. At the round of 16 we are going to face Metalist.

Pokerwise....

I played about 1k hands as usual and won 1 buy in. Not that good, but not bad. All in all i have played 15k, so i have 15k more to complete the challenge.

Here are two hands that made me lol.

1)

Turn: ($0.34) 2 :spade: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($0.34) A :club: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.20, SB calls $0.20

Final Pot: $0.74
SB mucks 8 :diamond: 6 :club:
Hero shows A  K :club: (a pair of Aces)
Hero wins $0.71
(Rake: $0.03)

How can he call with that.

And a bonus hand that kept me thinking about my turn decision about 25 secs. I was wondering if he could (it was a fish) raise with just Ax there. I had blockers to 44,77 (there is only one combo of 44 or 77, so it is unlikely that he is going to show up with a set here) and i am happy that a made the right decision. River completed the flush, but i was taking a godd price to call, so i called. I thought that it was going to be a crying call, but i won the pot.

Thank you. :)

First 3k hands went pretty bad. I am running really really bad. Villains hit everything, i haven't won a single all in situation before the river. I am running 4 buy ins below EV and i feel like i would need more than 30k hands in order to be sure that i can beat NL5. :f_cry:

I always ran bad at NL5, WTF ? :f_confused:

Some hands..... Enjoy yourself with my bad beats.

Thanks and good luck.

So today i tried zoom poker. It is just like rush poker. I played NL5 for 20 minutes and managed to win 4 buy ins. It is way quicker than regular cash games, as you can play about 1,2k hand in an hour with 4 tables open.

Hem 2 did not import the hh so these hands don't count on the challenge's outcome.

PS. The next graph will be posted when i reach 10k hands.

Also why do you bet 3bb? On NL2 that is too small go for at least 4bb, with better hands like AA KK you can even bump it up to 5-6bb because fishes on that level will call 8c or 12c for them there is no difference. With 3bb you are just inviting callers in the pot.

Your stats look good, mine are pretty close and I'm beating NL2 with 17bb/100 also SH

Don't look at EV line on NL2 were you will get the most ridiculous beats, just focus on your green line, also don't look at non showdown winnings, mine looks similar, it just goes down slowly but that's because people rarely fold on NL2.

I'm also playing NL2, but moved to NL5 for the second time and hoping I will stay there. Don't worry I'm reading your blog :f_thumbsup:

I might actually steal your idea from the first post, it looks like a good challenge.

never raise that big unless there a lot of loose players or at least 2 loose players at the table who like to call just because someone else called your UTG or MP open raise. I find 4x is my standard raise with any hand in early and middle positions all the way to the CO. BU/ SB i am raising 3x vs 100+BB stacks or even 2.5 x vs shorties. Raising more then 4x with your monsters keeps good players with hands like AQ and 99, 88, 77 type hands out of the way usually, and you rarely get 3bet when opening for 5-8x, which is what you want with AA KK type hands.

i also like your blog man. seemz like your sold on learning this game like i am we should chat between blogs and possibly on skype and such. i am looking for 2-3 group members to bounce ideas off of and strategize with. also to help each other stay focussed on our goals. i have a blog here which is listed in my sig.

I'd love to join your group. I also added your blog to favorites. Good luck at the tables.
