Thanks guys ![]()
I'll try to figure out some new challenges and goals now. Suggestions are welcome
Todays grind started quite well. I got over 400bb up in about 600 hands.
The second session I played ended up -200bb ![]()
But not a bad day overall ![]()
Made one fold that was quite tough for me at the table. Both villains recreational. CO plays his cards pretty much face up.
Poker Stars, $0.08/$0.16 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.
SB: $10.42 (65.1 bb)
BB: $16 (100 bb)
UTG: $16 (100 bb)
Hero (MP): $22.12 (138.3 bb)
CO: $18.41 (115.1 bb)
BTN: $16 (100 bb)
Preflop: Hero is MP with Q♥: Q♣:
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.48, CO calls $0.48, BTN folds, SB raises to $1.28, BB folds, Hero raises to $3.20, CO raises to $18.41 and is all-in, SB calls $9.14 and is all-in, Hero folds
Flop: ($24.20) 3♠: 6♠: 8♥: (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Turn: ($24.20) J♣: (2 players, 2 are all-in)
River: ($24.20) 3♣: (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Results:
$24.20 pot ($1.09 rake)
Final Board: 3♠: 6♠: 8♥: J♣: 3♣:
SB showed K♣: K♦: and won $11.56 ($1.14 net)
CO showed K♥: K♠: and won $11.55 ($1.13 net)
And when I was tired of grinding I decided to have some fun and play spin&go Max.. Really fun game ![]()

Thanks! ![]()

NL16 is going well and soon I'm probably going to take a shot at NL25.. In PokerStars lobby NL25 is in low stakes category.. Does that mean I wouldn't be a micro player anymore?

I just noticed I haven't posted here for a while ♦
Maybe I could think of some kind of a challenge or post some hands and analyze them here

I would love to follow a challenge of yours - thanks for the hand analysis in the Beginner's thread - always helpful.
Okay let's do something fun. I have been playing Sit&Go Max for fun now. Usually when I'm too tired to play cash or I have drank a couple of beers.
Here is a graph of my 81 tourneys so far:

I'm going to play 100 of these 1$ tournaments and then post a final graph. Then I'm going to jump into 3$ spins
Not sure if that is wise but let's try. I think I'm going to quit that if at some point I drop to -5 bui-ins. But let's hope those go as good as the 1$ spins. I think I'm going to post my progress every 20 spins or so.
At some point I'm also going to do a 10k hand challenge playing NL2-NL10 and see what kind of a winrate I can get

gratz!! can u put the 264k hands graph?
Unfortunately I can't ![]()
Some of the hands were played on a poker site that doesn't allow tracking software. And after I reinstalled my PC I think I lost some hands that I played @ iPoker.. Majority of the hands that I played during the challenge should be safe though..
But I can tell you that the graph wouldn't look pretty
I was still learning a lot of new stuff and occasionally tilting.
After my summer break I have played about 45k hands so when I reach 50k I can post that graph

ok thanks, a positive graph is always a nice graph ♦

There you have 100x 1$ Spin&Go Max.
ROI%: 46.5
ITM%: 36
Net Won: $46.5
So I guess it is 3$ spins next
No idea. I might have just ran good.
But in general the players there are pretty bad and do funny stuff.. Probably because they want to get a lot of chips before everyone goes all-in?
I have won many spins before everyone even went all-in, so I guess those are beatable

I have now played 31 3$ spins and I'm almost BE. Got up fast but unfortunately hit some kind of bad swing and lost many in a row.
Competition is a bit tougher than on 1$ spins.
I like that the prizes are bigger. I usually play only 1 table of these so with 3$ spins I can get better hourly rate. I mainly play these just for fun and watch videos/chat with friends at the same time so hourly rate really doesn't matter that much but it is nice ![]()
What I totally dislike is that there are a lot of 4$ prizes... It is ridiculous. In 1$ spins 1.5$ was the smallest. Also when the prizes are 4$, 4$ and 12$ for example, and second place pays 6$... The EV is almost the same. In some situations I almost want to finish second and secure that 6$.
Well.. Let's play a couple more and see how it goes. I really hope I get a nice upswing because these can boost my bankroll quite fast

Now I have played almost 70 3$ Spin&Go Max
I have to say that I pretty much lost motivation playing these. I just have had so bad luck in these.. When I played 1$ spins I always got the biggest prize even though the probability is 1/3 ... Now tables have turned and I always pick the smallest. And it irritates me that the smallest prize often is just 4$.
I'll probably play to 100 spins but my main focus will of course be in playing cash.. I have just started playing NL25.
Wow, already NL25, that's awesome man
I can imagine that these tournaments can irritate at a certain moment. Especially because we are not really 'trained' in having the right mindset to play them. GL on your journey with NL25 and am sure to follow ![]()
Cheers, Hesticus
Yea already at NL25 ![]()
Poker has been going really well lately and the skill difference between NL10,16 and 25 was smaller than I expected.
I have now completed one more goal of mine: Playing NL25 by the end of the year
So now I have made a new one: to get to NL50 by the end of the year
