Do you have any other reasons to question your cognitive abilities recently? Btw, how is Covid, are you completely over it by now?

I'm not so sure they were really misclicks — in one case it was a misread.
I stood pat on a 9, against another pat, who then drew one.
I potted, and called the raise. Potting was the mis-click — I intended to bet small as a blocker.
Calling the raise was total stupidity.

I'm a long way from over Covid, although the symptoms are diminishing — except for the headaches

It happens to the best of us. I've done a few Badugi misreads myself in the past.

I sometimes like to play check/call in those situations, which may allow me to pick up some bluffs by opponents who would have otherwise folded, while still denying the more tricky players the opportunity to muscle me out of the pot after floating all the way to the end with an incomplete draw.

Looks like Covid hit you pretty hard, but nice to hear that the symptoms are slowly starting to fade away. Take it easy, I hope you won't have too much work to do next week.

Considering I'm retired, "not doing much" is fairly easy

That's a crazy fold. Folding AKo should be a lot easier in a situation like this.

One might think so... but often, it doesn't work out that way in practice.

Sometimes I'm busier than ever on my supposed days off. I imagine it can be like that in retirement too.

I generally plan what I'm going to do for the day.
Then just do nothing

:f_biggrin: I see you're in 28th place now, during the fourth break. I'm barely hanging on to around 200th, just about where ITM would begin.

Best of luck! :f_drink: To both of us, though things are looking a lot better for you right now.

WCOOP $11 NL 2-7 Single-Draw

I'll be playing this today, however I'm going to reg within the last minute.

This might not be the best strategy, since a lot of the time the tables have loads of people playing incorrectly. Even so, it's what I plan to do.

That's to bad. Maybe you had a better change if you played from the start. Hopefully the next tournement will go better :gl:

Thanks,
Of all the WCOOP tournaments I've played so far this year, the only one I cashed was the one I registered late.
Tomorrow is the next one — $11 NL 5-Card Draw
