Yes. A bluff, but a bluff with a 0 probability of winning if called.

Some things — I have an image of only ever shoving da nutz, and also raising high-only hands pre. I like doing that because when a high-only hand wins, you don't have to share it with a low, So in this case, bluffing makes sense. Also heads-up — I would never consider this move multi-way.

What if I do get called? OK, fine, I lose a stack, but I plant the image that I can do this.

I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with those Courchevel tournaments in the past. One of the biggest issues, though, was their long late reg. Not sure about the $2.20 game, I think that is outside my grinding times. Did it have 2 hours of late reg too?

5CD MTTs, nice. I would like to get back to them, but the ones during my grinding hours are a bit too expensive for my tastes.

Especially in those tournaments, it seems to be of utmost importance to get the most out of those "cooler spots", even if it means having to take the risk of being on the wrong side of those spots yourself. I may have played too much for some kind of pot control in these situations (not with quads, but with other good made hands). You need to make those few opportunities count before you get blinded out.

About ten years ago, I was done with my final exams and my bachelor thesis and everything at university, but still had to stick around in my degree until I could finish a relevant internship and write a report about it. It took about a year until I found something, and during that time, I remained a full student without attending any lectures, doing any assignments or even setting foot within my university at all, unless there was something to discuss. Back then, I also considered myself a proud member of the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything.

An astute observation
I have a BSC in Geology, but after a few years working "in the bush" I decided I'd rather be a teacher, so I took a job as a cab driver to pay my way back to uni to get my teaching credentials. That was over 40 years ago, and apart from substitute teaching at local schools, I followed neither career

For some reason, PLO8 went sideways early on this month, so I had to play NL2 to get tickets to the "Red Carpet" freeroll. Fortunately, that didn't cost me anything.
