Greetings strangers and welcome to this collective effort from the Dutch Skype group Whiners United.
Who are W.U.?

We’re young Dutch speaking folk that play poker a lot, but do it as an aside (or so some of us kid themselves). We mostly grind 6max small stakes, so that means mostly around 100nl, sometimes higher than that and sometimes lower.

Posters from W.U. are: Oereuh, Varune, Oscaar10, kalakaja, luca02, Rogier

What? And why?

We will strive to just post cool shit and can hopefully engage in some interesting discussions on the English side of PS. Aside from that we’re also interested in writing more in English and doing that well, so grammar Nazi’s are welcome!

Pretty confusing spot, villain is unknown but feels like a fish and was 1, maybe 2-tabling zoom

SB bets $5.00, Hero calls $5.00

Turn: ($16.00, 2 players) 3♠

Betsizings tell me he's a fish aswell. If he's a reg you should go through ur database to make sizing reads. :)

As played it looks like:
Flop a pure bluff,
Turn Semibluff,
River hit flush.

So a fold shouldn't be too bad.

Hand vs a weakreg.
I wasn't that active in 3betting pre, so my 4bet should've gotten alot of respect. Him just calling bends his range more to AK than high PP's. Cuz i see him 5betting PP's to get HU with PP's and not get outdrawn.

That makes this flop a quite standard cbet for me :)

Party, $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

UTG: $100 (100 bb)
BB: $157.79 (157.8 bb)
BTN: $129.55 (129.6 bb)
Hero (MP): $121.59 (121.6 bb)
SB: $29 (29 bb)
CO: $101.50 (101.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q T
UTG folds, Hero raises to $3, CO folds, BTN raises to $8, SB folds, BB calls $7, Hero raises to $22, BTN calls $14, BB folds

Flop: ($52.50) 6 4 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $21, BTN folds

Results:

Spoiler

$52.50 pot ($2.62 rake)
Final Board: 6 4 2
BTN mucked and lost (-$22 net)
Hero mucked Q T and won $49.88 ($27.88 net)

Was just a bit sceptical about my 4bet sizing.

Agree with this!

What about preflop though? Is it a standard call? I try to avoid those spots (It's almost like you call A4o vs fishy CO open which also doesn't look great). Our hand doesn't flop great and we don't beat any Ax. We can't bluffraise that many flop nor turns knowing he's fishy. This is why I would fold preflop but I'm open for critics to this!

It plays fine IP vs a fish imo.
