Just looked at some of these HH's ... people are shipping 200BB stacks around like they are 40BB's. Crazy stuff.

Any ideas?

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (BTN): $119.30 (238.6 bb)
SB: $98.48 (197 bb)
BB: $221.23 (442.5 bb)
UTG: $145.97 (291.9 bb)
MP: $127.22 (254.4 bb)
CO: $48.98 (98 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with J A
3 folds, Hero raises to $1, SB folds, BB raises to $4, Hero calls $3

Flop: ($8.25) 8 J 8 (2 players)
BB bets $6, Hero calls $6

Turn: ($20.25) A (2 players)
BB bets $14.50, Hero calls $14.50

River: ($49.25) T (2 players)
BB bets $32.75, Hero ???

Villain seems like a good aggro reg.

3b vs everyone = 5% from BB to BTN (38 spots)
3b vs hero = 15% (13spots)

I steal 62% from BTN an fold to a sb/bb 3b 58%

I had a really hard time figuring out what he is repping on the river.

There is only one combo of JJ and one combo of AA. I don't think he is 3b 88 so we can exclude that as well.

Maybe KQ diamonds that got there on river?
Can he have a random 8? A8-J8 ? But again how many combos can he have?

We don't think he ever value bets worse there (i.e. AQ/AK), right? So it's 8x, AA, JJ, or KdQd for value. Thus, his value range (assuming no AK/AQ) has us crushed. Given that, what hands would he TBB there and what would he try to push us off?

I do agree with you. If he was a decent villain i would b instafolding. If we were villain would be betting ak ontr? And maybe push the other player of a chop?

Since he was a complete unknown i decided to call hoping to see an overplayed ak as he wasnt repping too much. I wasnt too happy clicking the call button but i ve seen unkowns do worseplays.

As i said before i put much emphasis on sizing as people tend to have tells. The 2/3 bet on the flop says a lot!

Just came back from the local casino. I played an 8 hour session of NL100 and I finished up 1.1k. Sick day, I was running super hot ofc, made a few mistakes were I could have got some more value but overall I am happy with my play.

I made on sick bluff during the end of the session when my table image was super solid. It failed because somehow whale hit trips on the turn with 107s (5bet pot).
No worries though, I ll be back this night to earn some more!

Question of the day!

You are sitting on a nl100 cash table on the BB with 450bb withh.
UTG limps, everyone folds and a somewhat drunk/bad/ player shoves for 800 bb in this unraised pot from the CO

Not much info on villain

Saw him go all in as short stack with AQo, bluff the river with 5 high and generally play bad

He made a 4bet shove on a very wet board 7s8s9d with JJ 3way

He raised AA twice to 12bb

Soooooo

What is our calling range?

First of all I'm just another player so don't mark my words too much.
(I play NL50 Zoom only too)
The problem is even with KK we are at 18% if xe has AA.
Given how random xe is, I don't think you can assume xe will play Aces the same way every time, so xe can have them.
Even against AK which is what I'd assume most times we are not even at 70% with KK.
Considering I have to put 450BB on it, I'm going only with Aces, and reluctantly, after all it's a pair and there are 5 cards to go.

I like your thinking guys. I will leave the question open until tonight and I will tell you my in-game thoughts and what he actually had ( yes he showed!)

I'm sure he had crap.
But I still don't like putting 450BB on a ~75%

How much equity against his range do you want to put in 450bb pre? Given that you have a 15-20 Buy-ins roll?

That's a low bankroll.
Therefore I'll be more conservative, and I'd go with it only if certain domination 80%+.

Unless I'm sure he does that with other PPs, in which case I call with KK too.
