Today, Durrr Doll said he was disappointed. He carefully approached me to say that he is finding all this experience a bit different from what he had imagined: though he is glad and relieved that I didn’t torch him – so far – for the $20 they offered, he finds that something very important is missing in our partnership. And that thing is poker.
“It’s ok that you are not a high roller.” – he said – “I didn’t expect to go play any live tournaments or anything. But you play no poker at all! You just study, all day long, every single day! Not even internet microstakes! I’m boring to death here!”
And so I replied:
“I’m boring you to death? Hm… I wonder if that qualifies for claiming the $20…”
